Liebe Metal-Gemeinde
Derzeit müsst Ihr leider mit weniger Bilder auf dieser Seite auskommen. Nachdem wir dem Vorwurf einer Urheberrechtsverletzung ausgesetzt waren, konnten wir diesen Vorwurf entkräften. Es ist also vorläufig nochmal gut ausgegangen.
Dennoch werden wir jetzt noch die zigtausend Bilder nach und nach überprüfen und den Großteil wieder zugänglich machen.

Here We Go! Iceman: "Hi Wednesday13! Gratulation zu dem neuen Album! Stimmt es dass Du das Album allein gemacht hast? Wednesday13:" Danke! Nein, ich hab nur die gesamten Gitarren eingespielt, mein Bassist, der auch jetzt hier mit auf Tour ist, war mit daran beteiligt und mein ehemaliger Drummer hat die Schlagzeugspuren erledigt. Nate ist ein großartiger Bassist, deswegen wollte ich ihn auf der Tour auch dabei haben! Iceman: "Bekanntermaßen bist Du ein großer Freund von Horrorfilmen - welcher ist Dein Lieblingsfilm?  Wednesday13: "Oh, eine einfache Frage, ich habe keinen speziellen Lieblingsfilm, ich steh so auf den alten schwarz/weiß Film, die originalen "Dracula" und "Frankenstein"! Aber ich mag auch die Filme aus den Siebzigern, "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", "Der Exorzist"! Aber ich mag auch Filme aus den 80's "Freitag der 13.", "Nightmare" etc... Diese ganze Art von Filmen, in jeder Dekade hab ich meine Lieblingsfilme, ich hab mir auch das Remake von "Dawn Of The Dead" angesehen, aber das Original ist natürlich besser, keine Frage! Iceman: "Bevor wir uns hier heut mit Dir trafen, um dieses Interview zu machen, hab ich mal nachgesehen was so über Dich geschrieben wird… Stimmt es dass Du eine harte Kindheit hattest und dass das der Grund das Du all diesen "Horror-Stoff" machst? Wednesday13: "Nein! Ich hatte eine gute Kindheit, der Haken war nur dass ich, in der Gegend in der ich wohnte, nicht viele Freunde hatte, so das ich die meiste Zeit zuhause saß und der TV lief! Deswegen reflektiert meine Musik eben sehr viel von dem TV Geschehen der damaligen Jahre, ich war immer ein großer von "The Monsters", es war eine abgefahrene Comedy, sehr seltsamer Humor, gruselig, aber doch auch ne Menge Spaß! Iceman: "Was können wir erwarten heute Abend? Wirst Du ne große Show bringen? Ich hab in nem Review über Dich geschrieben "Wenn Wednesday13 das ganze noch visuell umsetzt wird es vielleicht für "Alt-Rocker" wie Alice Cooper Zeit die Koffer zu packen!";-)  Wednesday13: "Yeah!! (Lacht) Meine Lieblingsbands waren immer Alice Cooper, Mötley Crüe, Twisted Sister so was in der Art! Ich werde auch immer mit diesen Bands vergleichen, das ist gut für mich, mittlerweile kenn ich die Leute auch ganz gut!Ich konnte mit Alice Cooper auf Amerikatour gehen, er ist mittlerweile ein Fan der Band und es ist sehr cool für mich dass eines meiner Idole mitbekommen hat das ich auch singe! Die Liveshow…nun ich werde versuchen alles zu realisieren was man auf einer Small Budget Tour so machen kann, wir spielen in kleinen Clubs, aber das ist cool, es macht uns eine Menge Spaß! Iceman: "Als ich Deine CD gehört hab fiel mir auf "Coole Stimme, wie ne Kettensäge oder so was! Versteh mich nicht falsch, aber kürzlich war eine ehemals ziemlich große Band aus den USA hier und die Stimme kam vom Band, weil er es wohl nicht mehr bringt, aber wie lang glaubst Du es durchzuhalten so zu singen? Wednesday13: "Ich passe gut auf meine Stimme auf, wärme mich entsprechend vor den Gigs auf, mache all diese vernünftigen Sachen, auch wenn es sich anhört als würd ich permanent schreien, es ist für mich kaum anstrengend so zu singen! Klar ist es auf Tour anstrengender, wenig Schlaf und so, aber ich trinke viel Wasser und passe auf mich und meine Stimme auf! Iceman: "Was is der Plan für die nächste Zukunft? Wednesday13: "Weiterhin Musik zu machen, weiterhin auf Tour zu sein, wo immer ich auch hinkomme, nach Deutschland, Italien, wo auch immer, ich sehe dass das Publikum immer zahlreicher wird, deswegen möchte ich auf jeden Fall weitertouren! Iceman: "Welchen Tipp kannst Du aufstrebenden Musikern geben?  Wednesday13: "Ich hab in Bands gespielt seit dem ich 15 Jahre alt war, ich hab mit so vielen Leuten zusammengespielt und so viele haben aufgegeben nach dem Motto "Ich bringe es nicht mehr", haben geheiratet, was auch immer der Grund war…Aber ich war der Typ der nie aufgegeben hat, ich WOLLTE es einfach! Ich wusste was ich wollte, man kann alles erreichen, egal was, aber viele Menschen geben einfach auf! Iceman: "Du singst über "American Massacre" über das "Blut vergießen… Nur mal angenommen: Der "typische US Durchschnittbürger", er hört Deine Songs und es findet ein weiteres Highschool Massaker statt! So, der zeigt nun mit dem Finger auf Dich und verkündet:"Wednesday13 hat darüber gesungen, nun is es passiert und Wednesday13 is schuld! Wednesday13: "Ich sage immer meine Musik soll Spaß machen und der Song "American Massacre" zum Beispiel, basiert auf "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", das war einfach einer meiner Lieblingsfilme! Ich hab niemals einen Song geschrieben und jemanden aufgefordert "Geh raus und mach dasselbe! Ich habe meine Songs immer wie kleine Horrorfilme betrachtet, wenn der Song vorbei ist, dann ist er vorbei und erledigt! Niemand soll da raus gehen und jemanden anderen etwas antun! Wenn das jemand machen würde, wär das ne verdammt schlechte Angelegenheit! Iceman: "Wenn Du Dir ne Band zusammenstellen könntest, egal ob die Musiker noch lebendig sind oder nicht - wen würdest Du wählen? Wednesday13: "Gute Frage! Ich weiß es nicht…es gibt soviel unterschiedliche gute Musiker! Angus Young zum Beispiel ist einer meiner Lieblingsmusiker….das wäre nen guter Anfang.. An den Drums…hm…John Bonham oder Tommy Lee…. Am Bass würd ich Lemmy nehmen!  Iceman: "Letzte Frage - Gibt es noch etwas dass Du unseren Lesern ausrichten möchtest?Wednesday13: "Ich möchte sagen "DANKE!" Für all euren Support! Ich bin ein unabhängiger Künstler, ich verlasse mich nicht auf das Radio, oder auf Videos! Es sind einzig und allein die Fans, die es mir erlauben auf Tour gehen zu können! Die Fans sind der einzigste Grund dafür das ich so etwas machen darf, dafür möchte ich euch "DANKE!" sagen! Wednesday13 HOMEPAGE [pagebreak] Here We Go! Iceman: "Hi Wednesday13! Congratulations for the new Album, is it true that you've done it all by yourself? Wednesday13:" Wednesday13: "Thank you! No, I did all the guitars and my bass-player, who is with me right now on the Tour, did all the bass-lines and my former drummer and played all the drums. Nate is a great bass-player, so I wanted him to come across the record! You are a big fan for horror movies, which one is your favourite? Wednesday13: "Oh, this is a normal question, well I don't really have a favourite, I like the old black/white Stuff, like the original "Dracula" or "Frankenstein", than the 70's stuff like "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", "The Exorcist". I also like movies from the 80's "Friday the 13." And all this kind of stuff! I can base my favourite movie on the era, you know? I also watched the new version of "Dawn of the Dead", but the original is better, of course! Iceman: "Before we came here, to do this Interview, I read in the internet about you that you had a hard childhood? Is this true? And is this maybe the reason why you are doing all this "Horror-Stuff"? Wednesday13: "No! I had a really good childhood, but the thing was that I didn't had a lot of friends where I lived, so I use to watch TV all the time. That's why my music reflects a lot of TV and movies and I was a big fan of "The Monsters", they where strange comedy, strange kind of humor, so I brought this into my music, its kind of scary, but a lot of fun! Iceman: "What can why expect this evening? Will you perform a big Show? You know I wrote about you "If Wednesday13 will perform his songs with the big Stage show - maybe than its time to retire for "Old Rockers" like Alice Cooper?!";-) Wednesday13: " Yeah!! (Laughs) My favourite stuff was Alice Cooper and Mötley Crüe, Twisted Sister and all this kind of bands. I get compared with them all the time, with my influences, that's good for me, now I know all these guys, I've been able to tour with Alice Cooper in America, he is actually a fan of the band, it's really cool that some of my idols knows that I'm singing !:-)About the Live Show - it's as much as I can do on a small budget tour, it's a small club, but it's cool, will be fun! Iceman: "When I heard your CD, I thought - "Hey he has a great voice, like a chainsaw or something!" How long do you think you can continue doing this? Don't get me wrong, but a formerly great band from the USA has been on tour here and the voice has been totally playback, because his voice fucked up! What do you think? Wednesday13:" I really take care of my voice, I warm up before the show, I do all the proper things and it's not a painful thing for me, it sounds like I'm screaming, but I'm not doing actually! Ok gets rough to be on tour, get less of sleep, so I drink a lot of water, take care of my voice! Iceman: "What is your plan for the next future? Wednesday13: "Just keep making music, keep on touring and I see, whenever I come to Germany, Italy or wherever - I see the audience grow, that's why I want to continue touring! Iceman: "What kind of tip can you give to young musicians? Wednesday13: "I was playing in bands, since I have been 15 years old, I had so many people that I played with and so many people gave up…"I can't do this anymore..But I was the guy that never gave up, I wanted it soo bad, that's why I get the chance to do it! I knew what I wanted to do! You have to keep it on your focus, whatever you want to do, you can get whatever you want but a lot of people give up… Iceman: "Another Question is - You are singing about "The American Massacre", "Bloodshed" and all this stuff…So, imagine the "normal American guy"…he will hear your stuff and another massacre on a High-School will come…he will point at you and scream: "Wednesday13 has been singing about it - so he is GUILTY about it!!" What would you tell them? Wednesday13: "I always say, my music is meant to be fun and for example the song "American Massacre" is based on "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", that was one of my favourite movies! I never had a song that's says "Go out and do these kind of things! That's the way I have always looked at my Songs, like little movies, when it's done - it's over it! You don't have to go out and act it out, if someone would do this - it would be very bad!! Iceman: "If you could get a "Dream Band" for yourself, doesn't matter if the musicians are dead or alive - wich musicians what you choose? Wednesday13: "Good questions! I don't know ..I like so many different good musicians Angus Young for example is one of my favourite guitar players that would be a great start… As far as drums go…let me think… John Bonham or Tommy Lee, at the bass I would choose Lemmy!! Iceman: "Final question: Is there anything left you want to tell our readers?Wednesday13: "I want to say "Thank You!!" For all your support! I am an independent artist, I don't rely on airplay, I don't rely on videos, it's all about the Fans that allow me to be on tour!
