Liebe Metal-Fans, Bands, Managements, Agenturen...
nach rund 26 Jahren haben wir beschlossen unser Portal "Heavy-Metal-Heaven" einzustellen.
Dieser Schritt ist uns nicht leicht gefallen, da wir viele Jahre mit Herzblut bei der Sache waren und im Dienste des Heavy-Metal und der Bands allen Widrigkeiten getrotzt haben. Leider ändert sich das Leben und auch die anderen Aufgaben ändern sich oder nehmen immer mehr zu.Neue Leute zu finden, die einen unterstützen können, wird immer schwieriger und die Flut an Neuigkeiten im Heavy-Metal Bereich nimmt kontinuierlich zu. Alleine zum Sortieren der vielen täglichen E-Mails geht immer mehr Zeit verloren, so dass wir nicht mehr hinterher kommen.
Der Abschied fällt schwer, aber öffnet auch neue Türen. Vielleicht starten wir ein kleineres Projekt mit neuem Anfang. Das Ausmaß von Heavy-Metal-Heaven ist mit der Zeit einfach zu groß geworden und die Redakteure immer weniger. Das ist euch Fans und der Musikbranche gegenüber nicht mehr vertretbar.
Nun ist die Überlegung, ob wir Heavy-Metal-Heaven.de so als Archiv stehen lassen oder die Seiten ganz schließen.
Die Domain würden wir dann zum Verkauf anbieten. Angebote dürfen gerne an webmaster(at)heavy-metal-heaven(dot)de eingereicht werden, bevor wir entscheiden.
Wir blicken mit Stolz zurück und erinnern uns gerne an die vielen schönen Momente bei Konzerten oder Interviews. Herzlichen Dank an alle, die uns bis hierhin unterstützt haben.

 In der Umbaupause sind bereits die ersten BLACKIE, BLACKIE, BLACKIE - Rufe, der aus ganz England angereisten Fans zu hören.  3 Schatten tauchen auf der Bühne auf, die Lichtshow flackert los und die Band startet mit "ON YOUR KNEES". Die Menge drängt nach vorn zur Bühne und reißt die Pommesgabel in die Höhe. W.A.S.P. zeigen schon am Anfang, wie der Sound bei einem Rock-Gig sein muss, da können sich jüngere Bands einiges abschauen.Klassiker wie "WILD CHILD, LOVE MACHINE und I DON'T NEED NO DOCTOR" folgen, während Frontmann und Rocklegende BLACKIE LAWLESS wie ein Besessener auf seinem Skelett-Micro rumturnt. Er schleicht am Bühnenrand herum wie ein Dämon, der die Venue in Schutt und Asche legt.  Bei "THE IDOL" singt die ganze Halle mit und DOUG BLAIR liefert ein fantastisches Solo, das einem die Kinnlade herunterfallen lässt, während er auf Knien sein Griffbrett bearbeitet und dafür stehende Ovationen erntet."I WANNA BE SOMEBODY" wird schnell und rau durchgeprügelt. Beim Mitsingteil fordert BLACKIE jeden der Anwesenden zu mitgröhlen auf. Das "The Who" - Cover "THE REAL ME" folgt als nächstes, MIKE DUDA spielt es mit einem breiten Grinsen in der Fresse, während Mr. LAWLESS mal wieder auf seinem Micro rumturnt und die Meute weiter anheizt. Nach ein paar Nummern vom neuen DOMINATOR - Album verspricht BLACKIE im Oktober zur nächsten Tour nach UK zurückzukommen. Das klassische Anfangsriff von "CHAINSAW CHARLIE" bringt die Wulfren Hall abermals zum ausflippen. Drummer MIKE DUPKE hämmert sich geradezu durch die Nummer um anschliessend die Ovationen der Leute entgegenzunehmen. Zur Zugabe wird die Band mit W.A.S.P., W.A.S.P., W.A.S.P. - Sprechchören zurück auf die Bühne gebrüllt, Mr. Lawlees und die Jungs kommen zurück und bedanken sich erstmal beim Publikum.  Zum Schluss bleibt nur noch ein ein Song übrig: BLACKIE (mal wieder auf dem Micro) brüllt: "BLIND IN TEXASSSSSSSSS". Das Riff sägt durch die Halle und die Meute schreit den Refrain lauthals mit: "DRINKING DALLAS WHISKYYYYYY". DOUG BLAIR knallt die letzten Akkorde aus seiner Klampfe und danach ist Schicht. Ein total verschwitztes, plattgerocktes Publikum strömt hinaus in die Nacht. W.A.S.P. in Bestform haben hier ein absolut spitzenmässiges Konzert abgeliefert. The W.A.S.P. - Army moves on... ROCKNROLL WASP HOMEPAGE [pagebreak] as part of their current DOMINATOR world tour W.A.S.P. return to the uk and blow uk crowds away with suberb high voltage rocknroll show which had the packed wulfren hall baying for more!! as the roadies finish and take the cover off the drum riser the atmoshere reaches fever pitch as chants of BLACKIE BLACKIE BLACKIE ring out as fans from all over the country start to reach fever pitch the lights dim and 3 shadowy figures emerge on stage before the lights come on and the band go straight in to "ON YOUR KNEES" with the crowd surging forward and hands in the air as the band show most other younger bands how a rock gig should soundclassics such as "WILD CHILD,LOVE MACHINE and I DONT NEED NO DOCTOR" follow with frontman and rock legend BLACKIE LAWLESS riding his skull microphone like a man possessed and prowling the front of the stage like a rocknroll demon hell bent on rocking the venue to its knees the temperature drops slightly for "THE IDOL" which was quite suberb with everyone singing and a quite jaw dropping guitar solo by DOUG BLAIR as sinks to his knees and lets rip over his fretboard to a standing ovationI WANNA BE SOMEBODY was played with such speed and ferocity that it went past in a flash with BLACKIE standing at the front of the stage during the singalong to the chorus conducting everyone to sing and raise there arms into the air a surprise number comes next in the shape of "THE REAL ME" the who classic rocked up as bassist MIKE DUDA and BLACKIE LAWLESS share a glance as big smiles break out on there faces as BLACKIE once again rides his microphone and a baying,ever increasing frenzied crowd go mental at this stage and after a few new numbers from the new album DOMINATOR the band return to the stage with BLACKIE saying the band have allways had a close relationship with the uk and that theyl return in october just before the band rip into CHAINSAW CHARLIE that classic opening riff ripping apart the wulfren hall as the front rows surge forward the band in great spirits with drummer MIKE DUPKE hammering his kit and standing up occasionally to salute the crowd as the band leave the stage the crowd chant W.A.S.P. W.A.S.P. W.A.S.P. before the band return,blackie with a towel around his neck and the rest of the band smiling and clapping the audience and there was only one song left to play BLACKIE climbs on his skull microphone and screams BLIND IN TEXASSSSSSSSS that absolute classic opening riff sending an absolute shudder through the front 3 rows as everyone from front to back shouts out the classic line DRINKING DALLAS WHISKYYYYYY as the whole band power through it and the song ends up with BLACKIE climbing to the top of his skull microphone hands pointing to the sky and DOUG BLAIR walking across the front of the stage letting rip on his guitar before the final chords ring out and the band salute the audience before they leave the stage and a sweat soaked and rocked out crowd shuffle out into the night absolute awsome gig from a band at the top of their form and the WASP army moves on ROCKNROLL WASP HOMEPAGE |
